EquaSiis Workbench provides a collaborative environment to
enhance the quality and consistency of your sourcing projects. If
you are an outsourcing practitioner or a procurement organization
about to go through a sourcing project, you will benefit greatly
from this toolset.
Procurement and sourcing organizations don't have enough
resources to consult on every outsourcing deal. As a result, they
must categorize deals by risk, size, and other factors. Typically,
high-priority deals are led by sourcing professionals,
medium priority deals are coached by sourcing
professionals, and lower priority deals are assigned minimal
resources. Our workbench product is intended to provide a
collaborative environment for deals of every size, every
geographical scope, and any number of resources on the team.
EquaSiis Workbench helps get the project off to a good start and
provides toolsets and workflow all the way through to contract
signing.
EquaSiis Workbench consists of the following modules:
- Role-Based
Security - Sourcing teams are becoming inherently
virtual and include members from both the client team and multiple
service providers. With a single sign on, team members can see
documents and functional areas of Workbench intended strictly for
them.
- Collaboration and
Workflow - As team members become more
decentralized and in multiple time zones, it puts a strain on the
team's ability to schedule tasks and include all team members in
calls and discussions. Workbench comes standard with web 2.0
features like discussion boards and chat, integrates into existing
email and calendaring systems, and provides workflow for the entire
team.
- Document
Management - Anyone who has worked in a sourcing
environment knows how document-intensive the process becomes.
Almost all the work required to get to a contract is document-based
and goes through multiple revisions. Workbench provides full
document management capabilities with a common repository, version
control, and role-based access to documents.
- Project
Planning - Project planning is at the heart of any
project that completes successfully. Workbench comes with standard
project planning tools that allow tasks, milestones, and deadlines
to be tracked easily and forwarded to the appropriate team member
for action. Preliminary plans that were constructed in Excel
or Project can easily be uploaded and ready on day one.
- Methodology
Support - Several methodologies are used today for
sourcing projects. That includes both project methodologies
and pricing methodologies. Workbench comes populated with templates
and best practice guidelines but can accommodate any methodology
required. Simply upload the document sets of your favorite
methodology, set the proper access to team members, and begin using
your own methodology quickly.
- Service Provider
Area - Once your base case and business cases are
developed, it's time to involve Service Providers. Access can be
shared with service providers to facilitate the exchange of RFP and
proposal submission, track key project dates, and support Q&A.
It also provides discussion boards for sharing internal best
practices with other groups.
- Issue
Resolution - No matter how well a project is
executed, issues will arise. Workbench has a full range of issue
resolution features including origination, assignment, member
routing, version control, status and reporting, escalation and a
full repository of all issues encountered during the project.
Technical Functionality
